Meds for aggression

Moonie isn’t spicy but she’s always less cooperative when she’s not feeling well - that can mean high blood glucose, but for her, it’s often fast changes (either up or down) that impact her mood the most when it comes to blood glucose level.

But I think every cat is a little different because I know some people have said their cats get aggressive when they’re too low. For Moonie, it’s the reverse as she gets very clingy.

When she first came home, she was an anxious girl from her prior history and that could manifest in misdirected aggression towards the other kitties. She’s now on 2.5mg of Prozac and that’s been a huge game changer for us.

Staci has a pretty spicy princess and she may have more tips for you. I know she tries to use the Libre to minimize manual pokes for Ivy.
