Good morning, friends!!

After ALL the saga of yesterday, my husband did the shot this AM at 2u….not the updated dosage We will blame 6am brain but goodness. He’s following up with the vet today too.

Does anyone else have a spouse who is so scared to deviate from vet instructions?!

It takes some time for some to get past listening to the vet alone.

You can tell your husband we’ve been doing this 24/7 for decades while most vets get very little training with FD and a lot of it focuses on dogs. Diabetes in dogs is very different than cats. Vets also don’t like to see BGs get below 200 because they can’t be there 24/7 to help you with lower numbers.

It’s clear to see Cheech is not doing well on this dose and really needs an increase. I hope you can do it tonight.

You genuinely have very much lit a fire under my tush in the best way. The best we can do for her is up her dose and test more! He got a nice lecture from me this AM don’t worry

You are lucky he wants to help. My DH always did, too, and he got so good at it that we always discussed dosing decisions but ended up on the same page each time (my way ).
