Love those pics! Hazel is SO pretty ❀️ and Jude, his face is just the sweetest.

Sorry to see Jude’s numbers are still elevated. Do you think anything else could be going on? Any other symptoms?

Thank you! They are both precious to me, but I'm biased.
Jude is exhibiting no symptoms. He urinated outside the box a couple of weeks ago--that's his typical main symptom that something in happening with the UT. He urinated outside the box back in Jan/Feb, and we had blood work run back in February, and everything was fine with that (I'm assuming nothing new has cropped up); his urine at that point revealed a UTI that we treated with antibiotics. His numbers took a while to get back down into the normal blues/greens, but they eventually did--for a couple of weeks. Then they shot back up. I took Jude's urine in for analysis a couple of weeks ago, and the vet said no bacteria--so he said we need to treat Jude for a FIC flare. If there is something else going on, we (the vet and I) can't figure it out. I WISH I could figure this issue out. One thing that is new to me is the Bupe (and all treatments for FIC)--I'm reading now that I probably should not be giving it to him transdermally, so I'll try and remedy that asap (I don't know why the vet didn't know this). The vet told me I can only give the Bupe to Jude for three days because there is an extended half-life that can cause sedation. So now I have to wait for three days before starting the Bupe again, and I only give it once every couple of days. This is all a little maddening for me. :arghh:

That is maddening, Mary 😑 Are you going to be trying the liquid bupe for him instead? I really hope it helps.

Do you think it could be his teeth? I know he’s had a dental not that long ago. No signs there though I suspect?
I will be asking the vet for the liquid bupe tomorrow (after I just spent $100 on the transdermal Bupe!!! :arghh: :arghh: ). He had a dental in the fall (and one back in February last year). I asked the vet if he wanted me to bring Jude in for an exam (I mentioned that Jude has had some drooling) and he asked me not to right now bc Jude gets so freaked out when I take him to the vet, and the vet wants to keep stressors at a minimum since that exacerbates the FIC issue.

I can understand the vet not wanting to stress him out and cause more problems for him. I just hope he feels better soon. πŸ€—
