It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight, we celebrate the full Worm Moon! Not only is it a full moon this month, it’s a full blood moon with a total eclipse, making this an extra special night for us all. Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Worm Moons past:

Appetizers: Wormtinis; Hot Worm Toddies; New-Worm Old Fashioneds; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas garnished with many varieties of Worms collected by our Pizza Chefs; Worm Rollups with Nip Dip; Sushi Bar specialties of Sushi Chef Tux and featuring worm-caught Hudson River fish in Chef Neko's fabulous Sushi Rolls.

Entrees: Night Crawlers a la King; Grilled Chicken with Red-Wiggler Marinade; Chef Mannie's Renowned Poached PNW Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo and Worm-casing Garnish; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with Fresh Worm Salsa; Squirrel Kabobs; Wormburgers with The Works.

Salads: Central Park Sheep Meadow Greens à la Butthead & Donny with Worm and Vinegar dressing and Crunchy Worm-Casing Croutons; Confetti Slaw with Tiny Worms.

Desserts: Maggie's Signature New York Style Cheesecakes; Sweet-Worm Torte à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies with Worm Sprinkles; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits (without worms).

Newer traditions include Bubba's MouseMousse; Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan; KitKat’s Duck pate stuffed cupcakes with catnip icing, served at mousie temperature. You'll find Bella's Catinis at the Bella Memorial Tiki Hut.

Not feeling up to pawtying and dancing? Head on over to the Taster Blankets, including Olive’s Memorial Blanket, which will be set up away from the noise and too much activity for you. The blankets have a great view of the Circle of Remembrance too, and all the other kitties will join you at midnight as the veil thins to see all our precious Gone Ahead kitties. It is always so magical to see our friends and family on the other side of the veil.

I didn't read the whole post, but I had to laugh out loud. Because, I used to say the only thing Jackson has ever caught was an earthworm. Twice.
And once a bee.
Jackson is going to the party, and bringing his new baby sister Sabrina if that is okay.

Is there any way to keep Jackson from eating every thing in site in less than 5 minutes?
Because he will. And Sabrina will help him. Control, please, kitties.

My thoughts and heart go to Brianna & Zander tonight.

How wonderful. We're looking forward to getting to know Sabrina! We're always happy to welcome new kitties to our Full Moon celebrations. And we'd love to have Jackson help with catching some extra worms. That will keep him too busy to eat everything. ~Chef Luna
 
Kitties! It's time! Time for our favorite part of every Full Moon pawty. It's time for the Circle of Remembrance. The moon is so bright tonight. We're going to have the most wonderful view of the Bridge pawty. Everyone make sure to look out for Xander so we can let his hooman mom know he's arrived safe at the Bridge and is with all his friends, new and old. Soon our pawty will recommence and we'll dance and feast until dawn. But for now, let's all be quiet and still and make the most of these precious minutes when we get to see our GAs at the Bridge pawtying alongside us. ~Chef Luna
 
Ohmeowgosh, I'm so ready for a party. Yesterday Momma brought home somebody to be in the foster room, and today I can smell that now there's inexplicably FIVE somebodies and I can hear tiny creaky squeaky meows. I'm so curious! But I will distract meowself with dancing and with Chef Luna and Krew's yummy foods.

It's really cool how excited everyone here is about worms. My momma frowns on worms.

Oh Ivan. The beans did that to me once too. I was happy settling into my new home. Then they brought my meowmomma home a few weeks later. And six new somebodies. It will be OK. If they're fosters, they'll be gone before you know it. Ours all stayed. I didn't make them welcome, so it was very rude of them to stay!

My momma doesn't like worms either. Dis is my favorite menu all year because I get to play with worms. ~Chef Luna

That IS rude! The somebody in my foster room is rude too, the one who came yesterday before all the tiny creaky squeaking started. I've been sitting outside her door meowing, "Hey! Hey! Hey! What's going on in there?!" you know, as one does, and I've actually heard hisses in reply. Later, she started to ignore me, which is even more rude. Cuz like I always say, any attention is good attention.
 
It's been so long since Sinver went to a party. He's been having his ups and downs and hasn't been around for a while. He told me he'd love to go to the next party now that he feels recovered enough to do those dances he loves so much. The food the chef prepares is always delicious, and he comes home with a full stomach. I hope you all had a good time. I'll remind Sinver that he can't miss the next one. We'll start preparing his costume; his return to parties has to be spectacular. We'll try to prepare some good snacks.
Remembering Xander, may the earth rest lightly upon him, as they say here in Spain.🌈❤️❤️
