Great Sunny report!

Out of curiosity, what dosing method are you following? It's not in the signature or the spreadsheet.
Oh! I just updated it. I was wavering but we've settled on TR. We have a checkup at the vet scheduled for the 20th to recheck bloodwork. Everything has normalized except his pancreatitis number so it'll be interesting to see where that's at now. The vet wants me to fast Sunny for the test for at least 8 hours. Uggh. He's used to eating every few hours even overnight. How am I going to do that?
Sunny's down to taking budesonide eod now and I anticipate the vet may lower the dosage again so I'll be having to watch this guy's bg numbers like a hawk. I'm thinking with numbers this good, he should come down pretty fast....

I used to schedule blood draw appointments for end of the day, not long before PMPS. Not sure why he wants him fasted for a pancreatitis test. Was that the vet or front desk who told you that? Typically diabetics don't have the same restrictions. I used to have to ask the person calling to confirm with the vet.

1.5 mg budesonide is a lot! Neko got 1.0 mg and got reduced down below that fairly quickly.

Yah it was the vet who told me. I just rechecked the email and she actually said to fast him for 10 to 12 hours. I do have a late in the day appointment so will do the best I can. But I'm envisioning more like 6 or 7 hours. It'll just have to be good enough.
