Hello everyone!

It has been awhile since I have posted. I don't even know what my last thread was. Indy has been doing okay but his numbers have been all over the place. He was back up in the pink after being pretty good for awhile on 1u so we went up to 1.25u and at PM shot time he was at 94 (confirmed with ear prick). Gabe him .25u that night and went back to 1u. Then today we have spent most of the day in the green. The alarm on the libre hasn't gone off....so not looking at a reduction at the moment but still a bit worried about PM shot time. We will see what happens.

Hope everyone is well.

Hi Jessica, I would think his numbers are all over the place since the doses have changed many times and you have some skips of insulin.
The depot needs consistent dosing to stabilize.
Hope this helps.
Have a calm day and a safe surf 🏄‍♂️ 🌊😻

Makes sense. Thinking of just holding at 1u since he was in the green yesterday. I just hate seeing numbers above 300. His IBD flareup a couple of weeks ago did not help things...that is why we have that 1 day that he got no insulin whatsoever.

Then with the 94 at PM shot time on the 23rd just threw me for a complete loop. I guess I don't know when to tweak doses properly. I thought I understood it....*sigh*

Since your reductions are taken below 60 (as in your signature) the 94 should be fine to shoot.

Why don't you put a question mark from the drop down in the prefix and write "dose advice needed"
(Maybe review the dosing protocol info for SLGS to refresh).
Always a good idea, it's so easy to forget all of the nuances when we are at this for a while! 🥰

I never shot anything close to that number....I was scared! Posted today's thread with a question mark. Thank you!
