..he’s having a little bit of leakage.. maybe has UTI.. or just dealing w these kidney issues and having to go so much.. idk.

i feel terrible he went so high BG wise. im afraid its hurt us w healing, if theres some to be made.. after all this time, too.. not sure if it has or will. he gets his antibiotic everyday on the dot. numbers arent yet what i’d like to see. was thinking its probably best he come down gently? but idk. :( not sure whats going on.. maybe all the hard work w that is gone, too. alas. im checking his BP and seems ok.. got a new pen. will try it this morning..

we really needed help w this earlier.. practitioners aint worth nothing.

can tell he doesnt feel too great. rn hes ok.. but idk. hes claimed underneath the xmas tree on my new tree skirt as his place rn.. of course he can have it. 💔❤️‍🩹

ive noticed tho.. he used to go huge amounts.. im noticing theyre now quite less. hm!

trying to do all the things.. 😞

::notes:: just checked his BP.. coming out pretty normal…. Checked mine too.. if machine aint broke and trash.

❓: ive moved his shot to his lower tummy/near his leg/thigh…. That an ok spot or can affect BG?… 🤔 in trying to stay lower cuz if fluids rn..

You know, I just thought of something. I've had several that have gotten uti's. Even one that used to get them regularly till I switched her food for a while. But none of them had 'leakage'. And that's with cats with uti's & kidney failure to speak of.
However, I DID have one cat that would get leaks, so that I had to start laying stuff out for the problem. It turned out the problem was in her bladder, not the kidneys. And not too freak you out, cause it could still be other stuff and not this. But for her it was a blast tumor. I let it go too long undiagnosed. Don't do the same. :(
Just in case

Depends on how well he reads them and if he's even looking at/for that. My friends old very clinic told her outright, that they're not good at reading ultrasounds. Nuts, but at least honest. I talked my vet into accepting them (they don't take new customers), as she specializes in them.
So if you're having numerous problems and no luck with this vet, either set an appointment with another in the clinic or sell another office? But only if you're not satisfied and feel he's not getting the treatment he should there. I've gotten 2nd opinions before. And let's face it, it's why we're all hers, no?😅
I can't advise on the insulin side though, as his dosing is quite varied to the point of me being inexperienced in that, doesn't dare step in. Sorry.

and oh no i just meant his little sugar been high.. diabetes can affect the bladder, too. double whammy 🤡🤡🤡

I never gave Max insulin anywhere but flank or tummy. It worked great. I read early on those are best spots.
oh good 💖.. thanks.. i hope im doing it right tho.. :/ trying to remember where the diagram is.. will google too.. ive been doing back of his neck this whole time. 😕😭
