He’s dropping quickly again so I gave him some 3% food and am going to keep a close eye on him today. I’m also considering another reduction. Not sure if I should go 1u or 0.5u reduction. What do you think?

If all you gave was 3% at +3 and he's heading up now, I'm not sure a reduction is necessary. See if he stays up there by PMPS time. He hasn't gone below 70 yet and some of the larger depot could still be in play.
