Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. Indy has been bouncing all over the place. Had good numbers yesterday, then shot up last night. Looks like decent numbers today. I hate the nosedives from when he is laying on his sensor. Supposed to go to my folks for the day on Sunday and I am stressed out about it.

I don't remember being this stressed out and anxious the last time we had to do this....

Example of a stressful nosedive ....

And readjusted to 88. Why am I so stressed out?
I think the Libre can add to the stress a bit. As I'm typing this my alarm is going off when it was just reading over 100 so it took a nose dive too. Waiting to see what it "corrects" to...
Hang in there. Things have a way of piling on all at once without any warning.

I am just really nervous that we won't be home on Sunday. Our roommate will be and we are setting up an extra phone to be able to read his sensor while we are gone.

We had the libre sensor last time, maybe my mental health has just gotten shittier in the last year and a half, so I can't handle the stress as well.

My first reaction is always, " is he laying on it?" And we will get it adjust to the real number and then he will lay on it again. It is at 84....and I know with SLGS we would go back to 1u since it is below 90. But it also feels like a bounce....

Vet is still on vacation and I am trying to leave her be.

Monster's goes to 53 alot when she's sleeping and/or laying on that side.

Since you are only going by the Libre and not checking with a meter, I, personally, would give a little more wiggle room when it comes to reductions. That 84 was likely more in the 90s to 100. But that's up to you. Just my opinion.

That's kind of where I am at. Like as long as it isn't going into the 70s or lower (and staying there), I kind of want to hold.

Yeah, I'm inclined to do something similar - and not count a very short dip below 70 (for a minute or two, which is what happened today when he appears to actually have hit 68 for the briefest time).

I'm so curious about this lying on their side thing. I need to pay closer attention to Gen's position when the alarm goes off. It just doesn't seem to happen at random enough/often enough for it to be a compression thing,

I have hers on a bit higher so she doesn't usually lay directly on it, but if she been sleeping for a long period of time it will go lower and once she gets moving around, even just to stretch and re position, it will change.
