been a little mia.. trying to just juggle everything. things w my injury too.. more recovered now. and holiday things.. and just.. trying to have things together.. its been just me and nugget now.
.. but he is really thirsty still. idk how to help my cat..
the blood didnt show much and seemed to be doing better w the reduction.. trying human Amlodipine now frm the compounded.. see if maybe that would help. but hes showing still thirsty. i thought it got better but idk now.. obviousy pottying as well more. its not all the time tho. very much eating well, has an appetite, his other pottying is well, doing my best to make sure he gets his supplements and Thistle especially but sometimes im bad at it cuz he doesnt like it if he can notice it.. but trying to do better.
he lost a little weight tho.. was 15 now down to 14.4.. doctor was happy but im not. :/ he is 17.. and dealing w a few things.. but i dont like it.
he might be dealing w some older kitty things too mentally/neurologically.. after his vet visits the past few times, its been progressively like he is confused once home and needs time to settle.. walks around a lot, this last time he walked circles….. the doctor said it might definitely be stress induced. because he hasnt done it since, stops, and doesnt do those things at all at home. also im pretty sure his BP meds took him lower than was probably good, im afraid its hurt him.. im afraid of brain damage. but idk.
he also doesnt get much mental stimulation.. tho we try. he hasn’t been able to see well since all this began, and then the the high BP knocked things out more.. it just makes me sad.
he has had to go to SOOO many appt tho this year… more than ever. hes had like.. 7-8.. within like 4 mos.. its a lot. esp since hes so stressed, and a number were like an hour overall in the car. i stopped going cuz of this, and also we dont need to much now.. i regret some things now but didnt know and did my best at the time. i will ask on something to relax him for future.. i keep meaning to. and if can swing it, looking into a mobile vet who can maybe just come to us..
hes acting ok tho, very much so, hes much more awake, grooming normal again.. just thirsty, little thinner.
trying to see how things adjust w his BP meds and his sugar numbers.. been ok but still seeing.. im doing my best to make pieces even. i dont even know tho if that it.. but idk what to do. thinking to get second opinion. he just had blood done tho in november..
doctor was happy w his BP machine, checks done on the tail, line right underneath, or the paw, the line is to be on top/above (like the hose part..).. readings was pretty close.

apparently it was decent enough he’d like me to try doing readings w it at home as often as possible, starting w a few times a week.. gonna do my best, if nugget will let me and i can figure it out. 
.. because he said higher readings will be obvious..
.. lets see. also happy to get another opinion…. its also not that much more. 
but hes ok.. napping.. all there is, is now. each day, one a time right.. 
Let us know how the vet visit goes
