Our 1 year FD anniversary is tomorrow!

So proud of the little man and thankful we found this forum. I remember how panicked I was coming home from the vet that day. They showed me how to give injections on a stuffed animal, gave me an AlphaTrak and some high-carb dry food, and basically said good luck. Here’s our first post on the forum, it’s fun to go back and read and see how far we’ve come. Thanks for all your help that day @Diane Tyler's Mom GA @tiffmaxee @Bron and Sheba (GA).

Fast forward to the current day, things are good here. I’m feeding almost all Weruva now and I think he’s feeling a bit better. He’s not overgrooming really at all anymore and not grinding his teeth like how he was. Maybe the phosphorus or the beef protein was the issue.

We have a home vet visit tomorrow for new bloodwork. Always an anxious time.

The teeth grinding might have been nausea, good call to eliminate the beef. I hope he sails through the blood work and exam tomorrow.

Thanks Wendy. Yes, humbling, embarrassing? About how nervous I was to ditch dry food lol.

We haven’t had to deal with nausea yet so I wasn’t sure. He would sniff and turn away snacks, smack his lips after eating and teeth grinding sound.
