He’s looking sooo good! Since he’s down to .25 if he wants food later I’d give a snack at +8-9. They often get hungry when the bg is getting lower.
Yes, will do this! Thank you so much!
Also question, if you feel comfortable answering;
So I am following the SLGS method, however it says not to dose to 90 and below, yet Zot consistently drops to around 90 or below, and it seems that he's heading that way.
Beginners start without shooting under 200, however Zot doesn't like to stay over 200.
So I decide to get comfortable shooting 150, Zot isn't climbing to 150 anymore at his pre-shots.
So I decide 120 is the number I'll go for, but hardly any luck with that either.
He seems to be sitting comfortable around 90-95 currently, is it okay to shoot this low and monitor?
I'm considering switching to TR as well, I wanted to do SLGS just because it feels a little more comfy while learning, but because he's reacting so (idk how to word this) strongly to the insulin, or at least a lot quicker/better than I expected him to, it feels hard to even shoot with a lot of his readings. I'm not really sure how to go about continuing to dose him if he is chilling in low blues and high greens. I may be missing something, still trying to remember all the information about SLGS, but I forget bits and pieces here and there.
EDIT: Also I want to do a curve, but it says after being on a dose for 1 week to do the curve. I am wondering, if he needs to be on the same dosage consistently for a week before doing it, or just within receiving a full weeks worth of doses?
