Hello,

Lulu’s PMPS is currently 68, I know less than 68 is hypo. I was at work but she had a meal about 2 hours ago and I wasn’t able to test what her level was at that time but I’m assuming it may have been less than 68 for the PMPS to be that level. Would it be okay to feed her now and reduce to 1 unit since it’s borderline of 68?

Update: I fed her meal now because she seemed tired / hungry and was worried to wait longer. If I do the 1 unit, I can monitor her every hour to make sure everything is okay.

Thanks!

Can you test her again? I presume it's been about half an hour. I want to make sure she is going up before you shoot. And by enough to know it's more than just a numbers bump from the food. How long now since you fed her? Carbs take 20-30 minutes to go from the plate to the BG.

Yes I’ll test her again before giving the shot. It’s been 20 mins since she finished eating, I will test in 10 mins and let you know

Her level is currently 86, would it be safe to reduce the dose and give 1 unit?

For reference, this morning she went up 54 points in the first hour after her shot, and that would have likely been due to food.

I would reduce the shot tonight, and start with a +1.

If she's up or even at the next test, I think you can call it a night.

Couple house keeping items. Don't forget to update the spreadsheet. And once you have some help, please remove the "HELP" from the subject line. Put it back up if you need help again. That just saves us time finding out who really needs help now.

Im about to test her at +4 and will see from there

Thanks for letting me know, I updated the SS and edited the title. Thanks for your help!
