Good morning.
She had a green night and I slept :) I don't know how you can survive with waking up every single night, I can't!
She played with me son yesterday evening, that was nice to see. Not too crazy either, she plays laying down on her side, she's not an active cat at all, especially in the winter. She seems motivated only by food (or centipedes, but then she eats them!). How do your older cats act? Is it normal for them to be like that? She seems happy but sometimes I wonder if she should be more active, she mostly sleeps and eats. I mean, she will run for food, jump for food, climb and find smart ways to get butter, but if there is no food, she's not moving :cat:

Very food motivated one I have here as well. If he hears me get into any of his favorite human foods it’s like he’s a kitten again. Otherwise, sleep, eat, sleep, small playtime, occasional bird watching, etc.

Hi Cecile,

Binie also changed A LOT over the years. She used to be that active outdoor cat, running, being outside all of the time and when we played she jumped and was very agile. Now she only walks slowly, has stairs even for the sofa and just does short patrols outside on the terrace. If we are playing now, she is lying and just fiddles a bit with her legs.

She also changed her cuddling behaviour. When she was younger, she couldn't be close enoug and enjoyed lying on me when she was at home. She does not do this very often anymore, she likes to stay on her own place and nap.

Food is also a big thing for her. In Germany we say: "Food is the erotic of the old age." This is definitely true for Binie. :)

So good you slept last night. Bellas bg looks so nice and stable. Good luck on the new dose! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Cecile, you are so lucky you can sleep through Bella's green cycles. I would be unhinged.
Ivy mostly sleeps and gets up at mealtime. If I left her alone, she would sleep all day. I pick her up and bring her to different areas of our house so she gets a change of scenery and sunshine.
She would be perfectly happy in my dark basement in her cozy bed. I force her to see sunshine and get more stimulation (mean mom here).

Lime makes me nervous, not green. I want her to be in green! She was flat the other night, and I just bought some sweet potato puree thanks to you, so I was not too worried. Enough to wake up a few times, but she was sleeping peacefully on my bed so i was OK.
