Good evening,

after a night in yellow and a yellow AMPS Binie saw some blue numbers today. I am quite happy that her curves are not so steep anymore but I want her to see more blue numbers. So I decided today to up her dose of 1.75 IU but not to 2 IU but to 1.75F IU. I like to see if that gives her better numbers but less bouncing. I know it is not to SLGS rules but I like to give it a try. If it is not working, I can give her the full 0.25 increase.

Besides that Binie was a bit grumpy today but eating well. She is licking her breast a lot less and I wonder what changed.

Unfortunately she is not fond of her new cranberry pills and spits them out, even if I put them in her favourite chewing sticks. So it needs a lot of patience and many sticks, to get them in. Tomorrow I try to grind them and to mix them into some churrus. Half of my life with Binie now is to trick her into something she doesn't like. I feel like these parents hiding healthy vegetables by somehow bringing them in the shape of french fries or burgers.

Hi Heike, good idea to try the fat dose to see what happens. Maybe that’s just the tweak she needs to get her a tiny bit more, but not too much to send her on a rollercoaster. I’ll be watching over the next few days to see how she responds. Lots of good luck!! :bighug:

So glad to hear she’s licking her breast less. That’s certainly a good sign no matter why but always happy to hear it.
Good luck trying to get her to eat the cranberry. I mix all of Ivy‘s supplements (I grind pills into a powder) into her food and that seems to work. She doesn’t seem to mind as long as nothing tastes really terrible.

But Binie is so particular about what she will allow. You do such a great job trying to outsmart that incredibly smart girl of yours. She detects anything different and just shakes her head at you…no no no mama :smuggrin:

Yes, it is an experiment with the fat dose and I am curious, how she reacts. Good idea to mix the pills with the food. So I don't have to give too much churrus. I think the cranberry shouldn't taste too bad. I know she had some dry food one day she liked and it had cranberrys inside.

Seems like we are having a quiet night. She is in pink numbers so I should go to bed early. I hope Ivy lets you sleep as well! :bighug::kiss::bighug:
