? DOSE ADVICE NEEDED - THEODORE 10/4 +11 124

Nader was 61 although his appetite was poor today, he had an enema + deobstruction today. He also had subq fluids today.

Looking for dose advice. He is drinking good but appetite is a little off today (he was straining a lot and had manual deobstruction so I understand but don't want to overshoot knowing he won't be eating a lot likely tonight).

Looks like you did a dose decrease. I believe that is correct fir SLGS. Everyone must be busy tonight. Let me see if @Bandit's Mom is around.
I waited about 50 minutes then re-tested and his numbers went up anyway but I did .25 decrease. I was just worried given his appetite was lacking, I didn't want him to go hypo :( it's been a tough day. The good news is I got him to chow down Weruva BFF :D

He doesn’t need to eat a lot. Looks like he’s bouncing so I don’t think he will need to eat a lot. Hopefully if I am wrong you can syringe feed or use honey or Karo. I don’t think it will be needed though.

Thank you so much for the re-assurance. I'm keeping a close on him tonight :)

I hope he feels much better today. Sending you both :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Thank you, my little panther is feeling well but still losing weight. I'm at a loss, he demands some form of dry but won't eat the Dr. Esleys my husband picked up in the USA for him :(

I am thinking of trying this (https://www.petvalu.ca/product/go-s...ubPaBxz9yBpZ_ScIvhKUQjlZV72nzEN4aAvnAEALw_wcB), it's 15.5% so not under 10% but still I recall he used to eat it...I'm going to post asking someone can help me confirm the carbs to make sure I am not missing anything. He's so picky but always hungry so I just need something. He's also eating weruva BFF.

My boys didn't care for Dr. Elsey's either. They do like the Young Again Zero though (mature for them because they're old). Actually Shooter the diabetic only gets wet now but when he was eating a little dry... this was it. You can buy a small sample from them I believe.

Unfortunately Theodore boycotted that too. He ate it a little when I mixed it in with his other food but as it transitioned completely to that he refused. He's a little tough and he cries everyday now for dry food so I am at a loss of what to give him. DM has powdered cellulose which is paper and heavily constipated him to the point I had to take him to the vet Friday for manually deconstruction. Prior to diabetes he ate Purina ProPlan but that is high carb.
