This cat is trying to kill me through stress and sleep deprivation....he ran the gamut from 72 to 528 :eek: before his pmps shot yesterday, then dropped over 150 points in an hour, setting me up to test him every 2 hours overnight (I missed the +10pm alarm though---) Now we have a somewhat 'normal for Jack' amps and decent +3. Seriously - he's killing me with anxiety and exhaustion. Just holding the 7.5 because I just don't know what else to do with this beastly animal. (Except keep him away from Abby, Max & William who all got themselves a cold somehow....:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: )

Yikes that is A roller coaster of numbers for Jack. I’m sorry you are experiencing the sleep deprivation and anxiety filled days and nights.
I hope Jack’s cycles become more calm with less highs and lows Christine. I know it’s so stressful all this up and down and constant testing.
That’s where I’m thankful for the Libre so I can have a clue of what’s going on because there’s no way Ivy would tolerate all the testing. She would maul me to death.
While the Libre is fraught with lots of issues, I just don’t know how else to do it with a crazy cat like her.

I'm glad the Libre helps with Ivy and her personality. I've been lucky; Jack and Mopem (my previous diabetic) have great, easy going personalities, so the testing was never really an issue. Jack just prefers the left ear- can't test the right at all.

Yeah, that 528 knocked me over and I tested the meter - it seemed fine- it was in the same test range it always is. It's just Jack I guess...:facepalm:
 
Dang, that was quite the cycle yesterday! I hope he calms his britches down with the shenanigans.

Also - Kit will only let me use the right ear. She'll be calm as a cucumber. Any time I've tried the left, girl turns feral (ish). So we stick with the right.
