Bell is tolerating her new cone. She is not too happy about it, but it is better than all the other cones/collars i bought. I think she actually liked the cardboard one better
but this one is safer for her to maneuver around in.
Her rupture has scabbed over nicely. I am tempted to take the cone off but am going to wait a few days. I don't want to extend the healing time if she rips the scab off.
I did stop the Animax after an application yesterday morning. I talked to the vet who said it should not affect Bell's BG because it was only a topical steroid, but it still made me a bit nervous. Since the wound is nicely scabbed over, she doesn't need it anymore. Bell did just dip her toe in the blues this morning, so maybe that was due to stopping the Animax, or maybe just a pure coincidence, hard to tell.
