Woohoo, well done Pudge. First greens.
. How was Pudge acting during that green stretch? BTW, you did the right thing, when they first hit green in a cycle, a couple tsps of regular LC can help them coast in those healing green numbers.
To answer a couple of your questions, including one from yesterday. No, your cat does not need to be regulated to have a dental. It's just that some vets are not comfy with the protocols for anaesthesia for a sugar cat. Neko's first dental she started the day over 400.
Some cats actually will not get regulated without a dental, if there is infection or inflammation in the mouth.
You also asked about shooting lower. Cats don't drop the same amount at a low preshot as they do in higher numbers. One of the reasons that shooting lower numbers eventually becomes addictive, is they they are more predictable cycles. We say "shoot low to stay low". I loved shooting the 80's, cause most times Neko stayed didn't move more than 10 points the entire cycle.
