No much sleep to be perfectly honest .Im so tired but I’m so desperate to get his neuropathy better .

How is his neuropathy? Are you seeing any difference? Is he still standing/walking on his hocks?

Yes still on his hocks but risen a bit .Im so sad maybe he won’t get any better with that ? Is it true it could take a few months of good numbers to see a bigger difference ? I’m scared he’s not gonna get better

My boy walks on all 4 hocks. When his bg is lower he stands a little more upright on them but still not like a normal kitty. I think it's too late for him to ever walk on his feet/toes again. He also has severe arthritis and gets solensia injections which has defiinitely helped but not so much with the walking on hocks.

Well we are in the same boat .My boy has bad arthritis as well . How long have you been giving the solensia ? Bailie was in it for over a tear but I gave up on it because I got really spooked about the side effects mentioned on the solensia Facebook groups .

He's had 4 shots so far. The first 2 months I was nervous about but the vet reassured me that anything people have said about "solensia killing their cat" is because there were underlying issues already. It wasn't purely from the shot as according to them there are no negative veterinary reports. I also felt better about it because there's a guy on this forum that has been giving his cat Solensia for over a year now. The other thing I weighed out was Shooter's quality of life. He is 17 yrs old and I want him to be able to do his best and feel his best until he passes. He has jumped up on my bed several times now since the injections and hasn't done that in a LONG time. At this point I'm more worried about him getting a dental (which he needs) because of the anesthesia than I am the Solensia.

That’s such great news I also gave Bailie Solensia for over a year . I just got scared because of those stupid groups that fear monger . My vet said the vey same thing as your vet . I lay have to resume the shots . I’m so happy to hear your guy is doing well on it .
