It was eventful day today. Her auto feeder stopped working after she got her 2nd meal. I was busy at work and I couldn't get back home after lunch. When I got home and scanned her, her sensor showed a long red line. Her BG has been between 50-54 since +2. I was really worried she might have low blood sugar because she didn't move when I got back. so I fed her immediately. But her BG Still stayed low and didn't go up after eating. Around +7, I need to get back to work soon. I decided to prick her on my own. I had never done it by myself before. But I successfully did it this time! Her sensor said she was at 56, but the handheld meter reading was 90. That was a big relief. I can't believe the sensor is so inaccurate. The readings from the sensor really scared me.

Anyway, she stays green today. This is her 9th day on 0.5U.

Good job with the ear prick to check that low Libre number.
I find many times the same kind of difference when the Libre reads low numbers or “Lo”.
But some people find less of a discrepancy, so it’s best to check if you can do it.
Hope you have a safe surf and a good night :bighug:

The sensors I have been using recently have quite a discrepancy. This morning the sensor said she was at 57. I wanted to verify it with ear prick but I failed. She won't let me do it. This is kind of annoying because I don't know if I can trust the sensor reading. Since I can't monitor her during the day, I gave her 0.25U instead. I hope she surf well today.

I understand the difficulties testing. Ivy many times won’t let me test either. But I do my best especially when she is low. (Sometimes I fail though when she won’t let me near her ears).
I hope Evey stays calm for you :bighug:
