Another bounce last night and an active day starting earlier than usual. Tried keeping him below 150 and above 90 all afternoon. The final tsp was a bit much and brought him out of blue but the 1/2 tsp were only bringing it up a bit and dropping back down within minutes, so I went with a full tsp. All of it was 20% as anything lower doesn’t effect it it all. Maybe it was too much or too late in cycle…

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Hi Deb, it is such trial and error with the carbs. Good job with all your effort. Beautiful blue cycle for Tiger!
I hope you have a calm night. Give Tiger some belly rubs from me and Ivy :bighug::cat::bighug:

While giving Tiger his pill tonight, he cried when I tried to open his mouth. He also did a small cry this morning. I got a brief look but he appears to have a tooth problem. He has been eating ok but slowly the last day or two and that explains it. Hopefully we can get into his vet tomorrow.

Has anyone got a dental procedure done on an unregulated kitty. Ironic that his teeth needing cleaning is how we discovered his FD in the first place.
Surely something can be done….i hate seeing him in pain!

I’m so sorry Tiger is in pain and has a tooth problem. Poor baby. You’re so great with him, Deb!
Ivy had a dental done last year, we were only 5 months into her FD journey. Luckily, she did fine.
I had it done at the hospital we use (not my primary care office). I wanted a board certified dentist to do the procedure. She needed several teeth extracted :(

Sending you best wishes for our sweet boy Tiger :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Staci. I didn’t know that. I’m having a hard time finding a dentist familiar with diabetic cats here. I only found 2 that are board certified. Always something new to research with these guys.
