Good to know that at least the vomiting has stopped. Do you think she might be dehydrated from the vomiting and diarrhea and need subq fluids?
It's called Probiophirst made by FUZZIFRAND. I haven't got the package yet. She might get over the diarrhea before the probiotic arrvies lol~
Thank you for sharing the article. I will check if she is dehydrated when i get home tonight. I added extra water into her food. She's been drinking about 70-90g of water on average daily. I think she should be fine.

Some of them think Tresiba works better than Glargine. Many people shared their experience that their cats can't get remission when using Glargine but remission happens soon after changing to Tresiba. Based on their descriptions, they were using Glargine for just a couple months. I don't know if it's fair to say Glargine is not as good as Tresiba when the cat didn't get Glargine for long enough time to see the result. But every cat is different. Maybe Glargine just doesn't work some cats?

Tight Regulation has been used with Lantus/glargine and Levemir. No other insulins.

We do have a Tresiba forum, but it doesn't see much action: Tresiba (degludec) We've seen mixed results, including remission, not remission and switching back to Levemir. But not in enough numbers to be significant. We tell people to try an insulin for six months before switching. Some cats bodies take longer than others to learn how to work with it. I have Lantus a longer trial, but ended up switching to Levemir which was better for Neko for many reasons. She was a higher dose cat and Lantus with an acid base can sting at higher doses. Neko also had more flatter and predictable cycles with Levemir. So yes, Lantus doesn't work for all cats.

Thank you Wendy for explaining this. I will forward this information to them. Thank you~
