Yes, stay with 0.25U. It's okay to use some carbs to keep them at a good dose.

Next time you get a drop like you did at +2 last night, use some carbs then to slow her down. It's better to feed carbs earlier in the cycle when the insulin action is stronger. Feeding carbs after the nadir reduces insulin duration and causes numbers to go up too fast.

The routine I follow is to do her preshot test, feed 7.6% LC with her shot, and give a small amount of the same LC at +1, +2, +3. If she tests too low at +2 (before snack), I give her some 14% MC and check in 30 mins. Based on how low she drops, I continue feeding either 14% MC or 27% HC by teaspoons until I see steady/rising numbers (applies for testing too low at any time).

I try not to feed too much in the second half of the cycle but it's near impossible with her. She gets a little bit o 1.6% LC, usually at +8 and +10.

Does that sound ok or do you think I should change something?
