1/25 Zyler AMPS 102/105/96 PMPS 100 +3 75

Hi everyone. I did a test today. Zyler AMPS was 102 and 105, I tested twice at the same time. I fed him but did not give his shot. I waited till he was finishing eating, 30 mins later and tested and he was 96.

I opted to try a reduction but any other insight as to why it’s dropping a bit after eating or is that a sign that his pancreas is doing its job?

With his bg of last 7 days he’s earned a reduction. Remember meter variance can be 20% and all are within that. He might just have gotten longer duration the last cycle. He is spending lots of time in normal numbers and his pancreas seems to be waking up.

Trying to make sure I understand when to earn reduction. If there is that much meter variance, what was the benefit of holding him at 1U for longer to get 7 days in green?

We don’t take into account meter variance. If the bg drops under 50 based upon a test a reduction is earned. If almost all green for 7 days with most nadirs between 50-80 a reduction is earned. I’ll link a sticky that explains reductions.
