Sorry Ale. I was asleep so I didn't see your messages until now.192 is very close to 200. I wouldn’t necessarily skip if you can get a +2 and +3
Ok I will shoot 1 this morning. Test again as I did yesterday. This morning’s high number is probably a result of the skip last night. We need to figure out how he handles a one-time reduced dose when he has a lower preshot (like last night.)
Sure. If you want to... then we could see if he's trending down like yesterday. But that's good to know. I should be able to check in with you about 6:30. I have to go pick up one of my cats from the vet, poor Little Girl had orthopedic surgery yesterday on her knee. She had to stay the night, and I'm bringing her home this afternoon. I just set up her crate (she has to be in there for 6 weeks or more) and, of course, the crate tray was broken (should have opened it before to see) so I just got off with Amazon who's sending a replacement, but she'll have to use this broken one until then. I have it all covered up on the bottom anyway. But I should be home and taking a breather by 6:30.@Suzanne & Darcy
It will be closer to 630 to do PMPS, my son has a hockey game. Should I do a test now?
Oh good grief. She can’t really walk. Bandaged up to the hip. Bandage os coming down and We can see the sutures. So very unsanitary. She’s been flailing around in the litter box. I have to keep picking her up out of it. She was encrusted in wet litter. I have her cleaned up and I have applied new non-stick pads and vet wrap bandage to the exposed portion of her leg. I will have to take her back in the morning for re-bandaging. Ugh! But she was hungry and ate well. Not happy about having her leg touched. So it must be painful.ok! I will! How is the kitty?
That’s very good. Let’s keep everything crossed hoping for a better AMPS tomorrow! Red, red go away!@Suzanne & Darcy I just did a test and it is 141. I am getting ready for bed but I will check back in a bit to see if you replied.
Im sure you have your hands full!

Oh wow, hopefully it doesn’t get infected. Maybe she will be worn out and sleep rather than mess with it. Poor girl.Oh good grief. She can’t really walk. Bandaged up to the hip. Ok I will report in the morning. Should I reduce dose at a certain range of numbers? That’s very good. Let’s keep everything crossed hoping for a better AMPS tomorrow! Red, red go away!
I thought it would be. This seems to be his pattern.Ok I will report in the morning. Should I reduce dose at a certain range of numbers?
Just incase I don’t hear from you in the morning.
I have to leave in 15 minutes... he needs shot at 630Should I keep it at 1 unit this morning? I doubt I will have a chance to swing by house today. If I can I will tho.
No problem. I am somewhat getting it, I thought I was understanding it then the bouncing happens and I am lost again.Oh, and about this morning, I am so sorry. I assumed that you would shoot the 1 unit with his red AMPS since you had previously done that before. It’s my fault for not being specific in my communication this morning!
Okay. Let’s see how he does on a half dose. Test in an hour and then at +2. Let’s see where he is then.ok .5 unit. I am good for about 3 hours for sure. In a hour and then in 2?? You tell me. I just don't know if I can stay up later, we will see how my body feels.
She’s okay. But she can’t walk. So she flops around. Her bandage keeps coming off as well. I took her back to the vet today to be rebandaged, but the incision comes up so high on her leg there is not a lot of space to put a bandage above it so it keeps sliding down. There’s only so tight they can make it.How is the kitty?
Probably the insulin hadn’t kicked in yet. What about putting her in a onesie?
Thomas +1 was 313, should it be lower than the PMPS?
It’s been almost a year of frustration. Atleast I’m not buying a bottle of insulin and rx food every week!It looks like a bounce, but that’s just inference since we don’t know where he was today.
I am so sorry. I know this is incredibly frustrating.
Well at least it’s not red!Hi! This morning AMPS is 332.
