Hi everyone! I got s. boulardii and psyllium husk powder at the health food store yesterday and gave them to Chispa last night. When I got up this morning, there was a slightly-more-solid-than-recently deposit in the litterbox, plus two "free bonus gifts" on the living room rug. And a lot of sticky stuff on her butt that I spent an hour or so trying to clean.

But I'm happy Chispa has responded to the S. Bouldarii and psyllium so quickly! that's very good news.

I find psyllium works well and makes the product slightly gel-ized.
Hope she continues to feel better!
Sorry about bottom cleaning- but someone gotta look after that
When I do it, I keep smelling the stuff all day, keep looking to see if I got it on me! Yikes!

Lol, Kit -- I guess it's an accomplishment of sorts

She pooped again tonight and I got to see it in real time. It comes out like soft-serve, but I guess that represents progress over the liquid that was squirting out before.
My butt-cleaning days are not over yet.

Solidarity, We are united, Karen!! It definitely takes a village to keep these sensitive kitties safe. I’m so thankful for all of you and happy we can all pool our varied ideas and experiences to help one another!! Wishing you solid poops and safe surfing!!
