Yo cats and kittens of all ages

It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight, we celebrate the full Hunter’s Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Hunter’s Moons past:

Appetizers: Adirondack Microbrews; Hot Tuna Toddies; Moon Broth; Sauteed Mouseballs in Nip Gravy; Chipmunk Fillets; Autumn Insect Crunch; Wild Mushroom Compote; Sushi Bar featuring the specialties of Sushi Chef Tux as well as Chef Neko's fabulous sushi rolls made with fresh-caught Lake Clear fish; Grilled Rabbit Kabobs; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas.

Entrees: Wild Duck Gumbo; Pheasant Pot Pie; Roasted Wild Turkey; Brunswick Stew; Grilled Lake Trout. Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili.

Salads: Butthead's & Donny's Adirondack Field Greens with Sunflower Seeds; Confetti Slaw; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers.

Desserts: Maggie's Signature Cheesecakes with Fresh Cranberries; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; Apple Pie à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.

Newer traditions include Bubba's MouseMousse; Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan; KitKat’s Duck pate stuffed cupcakes with catnip icing, served at mousie temperature. You’ll find Bella’s catinis at the Bella Memorial Tiki Hut.

If you’re not feeling up to pawtying hard tonight, the Taster Blankets are set up and ready for you to relax on. They're the purrfect place to view the Circle of Remembrance at midnight, when the veil thins and we can purrceive our loved ones who have Gone Ahead partying with us. Olive’s Memorial Blanket can be found here too. Let Roxi know what you want to try, as well as anything you need to let the kitchen know about the food to make it as purrfect as possible..

“Ruby and the Kittens” are ready to entertain you and help you dance the night away. They’re starting to get into the Halloween spirit and are testing out parts of some new dances ahead of the Halloween Party. Come and join them on the dance floor – they love to have everyone join in!

We’re having lots of fun already in the kitchen getting everything ready for you all. Head on over as early as you can to get this pawty started!

Check out our new aprons too – aren’t they fun?

Chef Luna

Oh @Chris & China (GA) I'm so, so sorry to hear about Cheaser. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is to have no cats in the house. I'm sure he'll be at the party though - China, Cleocatra, Rosa, Regan and all the other kitties will break him out of orientation for a few hours. The kitties all decided a few months ago that they would allow the hoomans to attend just for the Circle of Remembrance if they want to because they know that there are people here who don't have a cat to send to report back about their GAs. So maybe we'll see you later on for that!

We join the party, we can bring canapés, taking advantage that Halloween is approaching we could bring something to join the party .. sinver likes to dance sure he has a great time .. so we remember his sister to be in the arch watching us from above have a great time at this full moon party. She told me that you guys are having a great time so I'd like to come over and join us. @Gill & George :D:D:D:D

Hey guys George and the crew are on their way, the Flying kangaroos are having a busy night they're stopping off to pick up Sinver and his gang they're looking forward to their first party, and sinver has got his dancing shoes on.

George will be taking it easy on the taster blankets, and he'll be keeping an eye on the twins 'Linus and Lucy' it's their first party so I hope they behave.

Everyone's looking forward to seeing Manzanilla across the veil.

George has packed some organic cat mint, for the mojitos and niptini's, hope everyone enjoys the night.

@Chris & China (GA) so sorry to hear about Cheaper, I'm sure he'll get a special pass to attend.

BFG will be watching for his favourite girl at the circle, I know he misses her songs at the piano.:bighug::kiss:

Sinver is wearing a tuxedo, as this is his first party and he wants to impress more than one kitten. His youth says it all, perfect white teeth that will be reflected in his white shirt. He has put on his best perfume and he is an excellent dancer... he will surely come back to the next party, he is a dancer, a flirt, and a good eater....:D:D:smuggrin::smuggrin:

We had our first snowfall this past week, not much but enough to cover the ground.

Today is a beautiful day here, the snow is melting. I’m hoping I’ll be able to see the full moon tonight. DH took a pic of it for me this morning on his way to work.

The menu looks delicious, I love the apron beautiful.

Everyone is welcome at the parties - sugar cats and civvies alike. This month, because the Full Moon falls so close to Halloween, tonight is kind of a warm up for the Halloween party on Tuesday! Of course Halloween is when the veil between this world and the next is the thinnest, so our kitties love that party above all others.

The flying kangaroos told me they're very happy to be back in service. They always loved providing transport for the pawties. If George needs some help running after Linus and Lucy, most of our crew is fairly young and they promise to help. And thank you to all for the contributions to the food - we're always happy to have extra treats for everyone. ~Chef Luna.

Sinver sounds like our kind of kitty - we do all love to be party animals. ~Chef Luna

We've not had snow just yet, but it's been below freezing the last few nights with a lot of frost on the ground. But with the cold temperatures, we've finally got clear skies so I'll definitely be outside later on to see the moon too. Snow always makes me a little sad because it was the one time that Rosa loved most to be outside - for some reason, she adored bouncing around in fresh snow. But I always try to think of those days as "perfect Rosa days" and know that she's watching and smiling down at how pretty the world looks with a fresh blanket of snow.

I was outside to see the moon, it’s beautiful I’m happy that I can see it this month. DH even came outside to see it. There is a chance of seeing the Northern lights here tonight too. They were out the other night. I have an app on my phone that will alert you if they’re active.
When it snowed the other day I thought of my Molly. She Would watch the snowfall from her perch. Good memories of my Molly, I’ll never forget her.

We're expecting snow starting Monday and from now on, I'll see snow falls as "perfect Rosa days" !! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

As for my Juliette, she is spending the evening at the party enjoying everything. She is thrilled, dancing, having a little bite and dancing again !!! For the first time, she will attend the Circle of Remembrance hoping to see her lovely little friend Ti-Mousse!

Thank you. I will think of you when it snows now too.

Awww - sweet Molly loved the snow too, even if was to watch not to play in.

Gather round kitties. It's time for our Circle of Remembrance. Remember to leave some space for the beans who join us at the Circle to see their beloved GAs. I know we all want to see our own loved ones, but please everyone also keep an eye out for Cheaser - his hooman is missing him very much and would love to know that he's found all our loved ones and is pawtying at the Bridge with them all. Soon our pawty will resume - the nights are getting longer, and we will pawty until dawn so we still have many hours left. But now, take some quiet time to enjoy this most special part of all our full Moon pawties. ~Chef Luna

I missed the party, but my kitties didn't. They say they don't know how Chef Luna outdoes herself every time, but she does. They said the aprons with the "giant mousies" on them were really nifty.

Ivan the three-legger was so excited all day! He said he got to dance with Juliette, and he got to meet the new guy, Sinver, who he admires very much already.

Aw, "perfect Rosa days." Snow gives me sweet, melancholy thoughts, too. I used to have a white fluffy cat named Nepenthe who was my moon and stars. Now when it snows, I always tell the kitties that Nepenthe is visiting us. I love snow.

@Chris & China (GA) I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to Cheaser. I have a kitty in my lap right now, and she's pretending that she's sitting in your lap to comfort you.

Your kitties were definitely there - I think they must have requested one of the flying kangaroos without telling you. Chef Luna says they were the life and soul of the party, as always. She's very happy to hear they enjoyed the food and the aprons.

How wonderful - I'm always amazed at how we all manage to come up with something happy to help with the difficult days. I'm sure your kitties love having Nepenthe visit - love the name BTW.

Sinver had a great time, he is looking forward to the next full moon... he says they were all very nice and dancing. The special food and the aprons were very original... I imagine Sinver would be one of the last to leave the party, he usually carries the keys to close the bars... hahahahahahaha.:bighug:
Please make sure Sinver knows about our extra party tomorrow for Halloween! Chef Luna says he was a wonderful new attendee at the party and helped with the cleaning up at the end too!

Hi, yes, he's very excited, he's had a great time, he's got a sore body from all the dancing .... he's a very nice guy. He is a very handy guy and I have no doubt that he helped with the clean up ... I prepared him a terrifying costume and he says he will be very scary at the party ... this time he will bring a surprise for the chef he says he really liked everything I prepared ... today he has spent the day sleeping and he is getting ready for the party tomorrow ...
