10/15 Kona: AMPS 138, +2 79, +4 55, +6 74, +10 201, PMPS 223

Welcome to LLB. Because you are feeding some dry food you would follow SLGS. Or have you discontinued the dry topper? A reduction was earned with the bg under 90. The new dose starting tomorrow morning will be 1,25. Congratulations .

Jason can you add SLGS to your signature also. You needed to reduce the dose to 1.25 last night, because Kona dropped under 90, so this morning give Kona 1.25 units
Do you have the syringes with the half unit markings?

I’ve discontinued the Glycobalance as a topper. Moved to freeze-dried toppers.

Yes, thanks, I’ll move to 1.25

- SLGS added to signature
- I will shoot 1.25 this morning
- No, unfortunately, the vet prescribed whole unit markings and I bought extra so I have 4 boxes, which is about 400. I’ll try to return them and get half-unit marking.

Hello, a bunch of us posted over on your other intro thread (that Diane has linked to this post, I believe). Kona definitely needs a reduction to 1.25 units to be safe.

Remember, as I was saying (and others too) that snacks during the early part of the cycle are key to helping stabilize blood glucose and preventing drops that are too fast/steep (which can also set up a bounce.)

Yes! She just tested 274 and I shot 1.25.

I will work on getting the chip, snack feeder, purchased this evening when I get home from work.

Thanks, Suzanne! =)
