Happy October!

This morning is cycle 10 after the last "supposed" fur shot with the 1.25 unit dose (I know the cycle count restarts).
I am going back up to 1.5 units tomorrow morning, as on Tuesday there will likely be a skipped dose in either a.m. or p.m. ( My Mom's surgery), and I do not want to wait to increase as it will force me to restart another cycle count on a dose that only gave him a little extra movement. I really want him to nadir close to 80, and 87 is the lowest he's been in weeks.

Have a great day Everyone, safe sailing!

Morning Deb
Just a clarification, with SLGS a fur shot/ skipped shot doesn't restart the cycle count. That's for those following TR. See Reminder: Counting Cycles.
With SLGS, seven days 14 cycles should be enough time to see what the dose can do.

Will you be skipping the dose because you won't be home to give it or because you can't monitor?

Sending prayers for your Mom and strength to you :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh, ok..i thought it applied to Fur shots in general, so tonight would be cycle 13 overall since the increase.

Ang, I'm just not sure yet. We won't have the surgery time until tomorrow evening. So it's a good possibility, even if her drop off time is like 8 or 9, that we will miss the a.m. cycle.
I am going to try to come home while she's on surgery, but I'm not 100% sure on that either until I have a timeline in my head so to speak, so I'm thinking skipping might be better than worrying about his numbers if I don't get home until the late afternoon. Again, I have no idea.. Her surgery could be at 2pm, and I can give the a.m. and skip the p.m... Or might be back for that too.

These hospitals and the scheduling is crazy, like the night before major surgery, really?

Thank you for the well wishes :bighug:

I hate not knowing and being at the mercy of someone's else schedule !!! Hope you get an answer sooner than tomorrow evening :bighug:
As far as an increase, I think you have room for one. I also think that Sly will recover if you have to skip on Tuesday. Let's see what Elise @tiffmaxee thinks about increasing for 2-3 cycles then a skip.

Yes, looking back on his SS, it seemed like 1.5 or 1.75 was a sweet spot. I want green, and I hate these blue pre-shots, especially when they go above 105 ish. Just want to keep him as tight as possible, and I think he has room with a reduction point of 60, he's not even hitting 70.

Hi Deb
Hope all goes well with your mom's operation and your trying to arrange everything!
Your mom is lucky to have you there. :)
Good luck with the increase and I'm sure Sly will get back to the green streaks.
Sending you :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Angela is correct about counting doses. Good luck with the increase and I hope the surgery goes well. :bighug:
