he’s been pooping in the middle of the living room the last couple of days. He will poop in his litter, but I keep waking up to a huge poop in the middle of the living room. I changed the location of his little in my apartment, but he’s been going in there fine. So idk what’s going on lol

Nice numbers! Maybe he's constipated? Or having a hard time getting it all out in the box due to size? A friend has a cat that poops way too big and if he's in too much discomfort he leaves the box, runs through the house and the movement 'motivates' the big piece to come out...but most times that's in the middle of a room---or the hallway (probably where he has been running) Just a thought. I don’t think he’s constipated only because his poops are big! Haha very healthy looking in amount and color. He’s done this before, before he had diabetes and stuff so it’s nothing new. It just makes me wonder when he’s doing it a couple days in a row lol he going poop and pee perfectly fine in his litter. I’ll make some little changed to his kitty litter and see if he likes it.
