Here is yesterday:

Was concerned he wasn't all that interested in food @ 6:00 am when I tested him so I rubbed Mirtazapine in his ear. By AMPS he was somewhat interested and then with a little coaxing ate the whole bowl.
He was also seeming distressed at 6:00 am when i tested so I called the clinic and spoke to one of the vets who had cared for him and asked if giving him Gabapentin was appropriate or suitable to smooth out the edges and she agreed. So, I gave Eddie 75mg Gaba (he's a big boy; she said 100 was ok but I don't want to push it).
His distress is evident in that he will not eat his food in the place he's been having it for years. As it was, he ate half the food on the little carpet where he gets tested and then the other half on his bed where I gave it to him when he retreated from the kitchen.
