Early today: Bounce at amps this am from the lows last night. I wonder how fast she will drop again after this bounce. Probably 2 cycles of high bouncing then another drop, I will guess.

PM update:
Edit: at pmps time Ivy was dropping rapidly. I gave 1/2 dose of 1.25 units Lantus, (not sure if that was a good decision). She’s been clearing bounces very quickly, and it looked like she was heading down fast (watching her on Libre).
(current dose should be 2.5 units)
Last night she dropped lower, later in her pm cycle, then of course she bounced back up.

I would’ve thought it would have taken her a few cycles to clear last night’s drop, but it took her only one cycle and she started dropping again as it was time to make a decision of whether to skip the dose or give a token dose.

She didn’t earn a reduction because I gave her a reduced dose just now, so I don’t know how low she would have dropped.
(we are following SLGS.)

Would one of you kind people please advise how to handle this situation when faced with it going forward please?

You've shot full dose with lower preshots after a falling cycle before. That's what I would have done again. Some cats will have later nadirs when breaking a bounce.

She is still falling now again down to 111 on Libre. A very active cycle. Looks like it will be a long night again tonight.
She’s breaking another bounce but after only 1 cycle.
I’m just not sure how to handle all of this.
If she drops under 90 will I reduce her since I have a 1/2 dose?

Please update the spreadsheet. If under 90, double check with the BG meter. I'd give her a couple tsps of her regular LC food now, to see if you can flatten her out.

The first half of the cycle following a reduced dose is usually controlled by the previous depot. Meaning you are seeing the 2.5 unit depot action. If she were to go under 90 (human BG meter) on this cycle, I'd reduced to 2.25 units next.

Ok I just updated SS, thank you for that information!
I just gave her her regular +2 snack about 40 minutes ago. I guess I should give another tsp of food.
I will of course double check if she goes lower to see if she’s below 90 then reduce again.
