? !!! 7/21 King PMPS 346

all these days my cat has sugar 80-110.. today I went to King for teeth removal and cleaning. I just brought him home. I measured his sugar and it is 285 . is normal?

I just talked to the vet and he told me that he gave him a glucose injection as soon as he woke up from the anesthesia. I don't know the reason

Don’t worry about the bg. The shot was late I assume and there’s the stress of the procedure. He will get back to the beautiful greens and fingers and paws crossed the dental will help get him into remission.

I hope you are right, thank you ❤

PMPS 346..

How many teeth did King have removed? Poor guy, maybe he's feeling some pain. I hope he eats well. Vet trips can cause stress and higher numbers. Now that he's home that should resolve.

he took out his back teeth. he cries and seems to be in pain. he ate just 4 hours ago but now he doesn't want to eat at all. hiding under the furniture. the anesthesia has worn off and it probably hurts. I don't want to force him to eat tonight

Hope King feels better and gets his appetite back. Our Tango's is having some dental work in a couple of weeks. Last time he did well. Crossing paws all goes without any surprises:cat::cat:

Call the vet and see if you can get some pain reliever for the poor guy. He should have gotten a shot good for 24 hours, but you should have something for home.

Try blending his food with a little water and make it soupy so he can lap it up. That might be easier than eating for him right now.

King is fine now.. he eats with appetite and is not in pain..
