Sorry for late post, crazy ridiculous day, didn't get nearly as many tests as I wanted- ended up having to run out to the office, and then picked up pet supplies on the way home. This all put me behind schedule with Pumpkin, who was a miserable wretch for fluids today. I don't think extra tests would have helped Jack anyway, he's in this crazy pattern of having great AM numbers and then scooching up to the 200's by PM shot time. The heat is awful, no AC in the main part of the house until maybe Saturday, so the heat is throwing things off to start with, especially the diet and appetite. The NOISE yesterday was absolutely ridiculous, it stopped raining and the sun actually came out later in the day, so the freaks who wanted to blow up the Poconos were in their glory. The cats were a mess- either running through house, or hiding in weird places. The stress level is through the roof- theirs and mine. All in all, not a great 48 hours, but we are all doing the best we can I guess.

Sorry you had the day from hell today :bighug:
Hang in there Christine
Have you tried putting some treats in front of Pumpkin to eat while you're giving the fluids?
When I had to give Tyler's brother Perry he would actually purr and want to turn around and look st me .
Tonight a few loud fireworks went off , they had to be those loud cherry bombs
It was the neighbors I know they are young and they live across the railroad tracks from me. I went outside and yelled , can't say what I said to them on here lol
but I know they heard me , then it stopped.
I hope it was quiet for you tonight :bighug::bighug:

I don't have any urinary tract treats, I don't even know if they make them. I might get some chicken or beef baby food, but really the problem is that he loves belly rubs, and just keeps rolling all over the place, knocking the needle out. He just wants love, and I feel so bad for him, I just want him to get back to as normal as possible.
Regarding the yelling at the kids, I totally understand, I've yelled quite a few choice words that would make a sailor blush at my own dumbass neighbors, especially when they shoot fireworks at the bears that wander through. I'm totally known as the wicked witch of my block, and I totally don't give a .........

That would be great if they did make those treats. Yes try the baby food
Try leaning on Pumpkin while holding the needle in and rubbing his face, then you have to keep an eye on the bag to clamp it off , just try it.
Good luck :bighug::bighug:
