Good morning....updates below on this killer clowder I live with :
Jack: decided to give him a slight increase to 6.75 units at this PM shot yesterday because I had a strong feeling I wasn't getting up overnight after the ordeal at the dentist. Maybe it worked a bit, we have just snuck into the green category this morning with the 96 AMPS number, but fool cat is back on his "I'm only eating what I want diet", which lately seems to consist of pate and Elsey's only kibble. After payroll runs this week, I'll order more Ziwi Peak and try to do a 50/50 combo with the Elsey's instead of the YA for now. The poop situation is finally back to normal and I'm just not rocking that boat. I do have some Ziwi left but he refuses if I only offer it to him, he wants what his brothers and sisters are eating, and I guess I have no on e to blame but myself for that one (failed food trick)
Abby: no neighbor yesterday, no meds either. I think I'm going to have to call my sister and ask her to come up to the house and help me with her. When I still had Mopem and we went through the great and horrible ringworm epidemic, Abby had to live in a great dane crate so she could be medicated. It scarred for her months after. I am seriously hoping to avoid that. I'd bring her to the vet for a week and let them medicate her, but with Pumpkin still in the hospital, there is seriously no $ in the budget for that.
Pumpkin: only slight improvement. He still had blood in his urine late yesterday afternoon, and grit, so they are continuing to flush his kidneys, and left the catheter in. His potassium and kidney levels are back in the normal range, so they were going to add an anti-inflammatory to the fluids, antibiotics, and pain meds. He is supposedly eating the Hill's C/D wet food but no poop yet.
I have another Dr appt for myself (my body picked a heck of a time to turn against me) this afternoon, so again, not many Jack tests, but my prediction is he will end up in the mid-200's at least by his PMPS time. Hope all your fur kids are being good to you all. Your well wishes and thoughts for my herd are very much appreciated.
