Hi. My vet is at a conference until next Monday and Chai is sick. Took her to ER and not diagnosed. My vet didn’t diagnose before he left. Gi related. Inappetent and massive diarrhea. Given probiotics, ondansetron. So looking for another option. I can’t keep dragging her around. Thanks.

Not in west la but I really love MASH. Have never had a bad experience there with any of Minnie’s many vets from IM to cardiologist and nutritionist. Not sure if it’s too long a drive for you… sorry to hear he’s sick

Thanks. He’s at West Hollywood? That’s not too hard. They did an ultrasound at the ER on Saturday. I brought in a fecal sample this afternoon. I have labs. Does he do endoscopies if needed?

Thanks. It’s time to find out what is wrong and fix it. I am hoping the fecal will show bacterial and she just needs flagyl although it won’t be fun giving it to her.

There’s literally nothing they don't have a specialty vet for at MASH. That’s one thing I really love it’s all under one roof. Minnie would go from the ER to the IM to cardiology and I just get her at the end of it all. The first visit is not cheap but all the rechecks are just $89 so I only take Bobo there now since it’s the same price as a regular vet. Ask for Dr. Bianco he’s my favorite.

I have pet insurance but of course it doesn’t pay for exams. I also have vca care club because the dental was so expensive it paid to add it and exams are free until the end of November I think. I dropped off a stool sample and it was covered too with care club. She got fluids again. She just has horrible diarrhea and won’t eat even with ondansetron and mirataz.

You need a pcr fecal. Make sure they’re doing that it’s the only one that uncovers everything like infections, etc. there’s a woman IM vet there too. She’s also good I just like Dr Bianco better. What’s the earliest appt with either one?
