Fancy Feast Petites Carb Content

These are fairly new (FF attempt to compete with Sheba I’m sure!) and therefore, not listed in Dr. Lisa’s chart. I can’t get the carb content on dry matter from FF no matter how many emails I sent them, but I found this website that lists them. According to the site, the grilled salmon petite has 9.72% of carbs which is on the high end of low carb but under 10%. Just wondering what the consensus is and if we think this site’ info is reliable.

They list all the other flavors too and the ocean whitefish is at 10.28% so just a tad over 10%

That value is the weight % of carbs. You want to use the calorie weighted basis calculations to be consistent with the food charts and the 10% max carbs (calories from carbs) always discussed here.'The % calories from carbs for the Whitfish is 10.07%.
 
You dint want to feed only fish of any kind. Will he still eat the raw? Is this just fir needing to bring up his bg? I would not worry about whether the exact carbs as they all are darn close.

He will eat the raw at his first am feeding and at dinner but not in between those and that’s not enough. So that’s close to 150-200 calories depending on whether he finished everything on the bowl. He keeps asking for food so I know heal still hungry. I tried pate but he won’t eat that. He will eat reveal but it’s only 40 calories or so. I’m giving him a lot of freeze dried treats in between but I’ve been using these petites for his overnight feeding which is when I need to bring him up anyway.
 
Right now feed him what he will eat. Long term I would try and find some other than fish foods. If cats get too much fish it’s all many want and fish has too much vitamin A so it can’t be fed exclusively. Just be careful he eats other proteins too.
