Have you tried ondansetron for nausea? It really helps many cats. I’ve used it for a cat with lymphoma and for Max for pancreatitis.

I haven't and I'm going to ask about it at my Monday appt.

It does indicate that it can cause low blood pressure. I've sent an email to ask if we could try it.

Good. It often works better for nausea. It can be given every 8 hours.

Did you also do gabapentin for pain? I have her on a low dose as even 50mg now tends to make her woozy, but I'm wondering is this is pain rather than nausea. I've only been giving her 25mg per meal and I'm wondering if that's just too little on some days.

I never used gabapentin. I used buprenorphine. It seems gaba is being used a lot now but not when Max was alive. When my two I currently have needed pain medication my vet still gives me bupe.

Thank you.

She seems to be very uncomfortable. She's refusing to eat, even with the appetite stimulant. I reached out to ask about ondansetron but I'm not sure if it's nausea or pain.

Ondansetron is for nausea. Often when they don’t eat it’s due to nausea but as you say it could be pain too. I hope you figure it out. :bighug:
