Please take a look at my kitty’s spreadsheet. He most of the time has high flat curve since his diagnosis in August 2022. Eventhough i am happy to see lower numbers since I switched to Lantus ( he was on caninsulin) back on March 11 thanks to this group, I still am hoping to see much lower numbers on a regular basis and I am willing to start on TR and test regularly. I need your guidance. I think it’s about time to increase to 3 units or 3.25? please advise

Lantus works differently from Vetsulin so patience is required. Your. At had a nadir of 83 and is bouncing from that. It can take up to 6 cycles to clear. This is just cycle 3. When you see green nadirs at first with TR you give it 8-10 cycles to clear. You will need at least two tests per cycle with TR. Cats often drop lower at night so a +2 or before bed (whichever is later) test is a good idea.

It takes about a week for the initial depot to build. Since you had a green Hague when you increase it will he .25 but let’s give this a couple more cycles.

Ok then I will keep the dose (2.75) a couple more cycles and if I don’t see any significant change in the numbers I will post again. would you please let me know how to link a thread?

I am going to wait for a few cycles before using TR as per a previous advice and for sure I will add it to my signature. I already added the spreadsheet to my signature, I hope it can be seen?

Yes I can see you're spreadsheet :cat: Just want to let you know on line 38 on your spreadsheet you have the date of 3-8 seven lines down from the date of 4-4
It says 8:30 in the AMPS cell and has 3 units filled in
