Good morning!

No Shot this morning.

This reading was at +12 ( technically 30 minutes after I was going to shoot), because I was supposed to go back 30 minutes this a.m. in an effort to get back to regular dose time.

I plan on shooting at 6pm as the new dose time for PMPS. See SS notes/ previous thread.

Pursuant to my convo with @Angela & Cleo earlier, there may be a question as to a possible additional reduction based on the 73, so, looking for advice or suggestions.

@Wendy&Neko @Bandit's Mom @Suzanne & Darcy
@tiffmaxee

Thank you!

Sorry. I forgot that you adjusted to reductions under 70. Stick with 5.0 then since there was a skip this morning. Please add reduction at 70 to your signature. With so many cats we watch it needs to be there. Thanks.

To clarify a point in the previous condo, a BCS would be treated similar to the full dose in terms of future shot timings. Even if you shot only half the dose, you would still give the next shot not sooner than 11.5 hours from the BCS. Also, the size of the dose does not affect the decision to shoot if it is a good dose for the cat. We don't know yet whether Sly wants to stay on the 5U dose or wants a reduction. Since it was the AM cycle, you could have shot and given him a chance to tell you. A skip or a stall might serve only to delay that event. This not criticism - shooting low can be scary - especially with a cat that has an overfull depot or is determined to race down the dosing ladder. :confused:

You took an unearned reduction on 3/23 and he held it. You could try another one and see if he holds it. However, he tends to nadir at the end of the cycle (or even later) in bounce-breaking cycles - probably because he knows how much you love shooting green! :p So that's something you have to get used to. Yay!

Btw, the AMPS cell on 3/23 would be coloured green.

Good morning!
This BG business is such a mind-boggling thing! So many ifs and buts.
I am trying my hardest to believe that it will get easier with time :rolleyes: if so Mikan wishes, I guess :smuggrin:

Hope you and Sly have a restful Saturday. Sending you a good vibe and air hug :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks for all the good vibes, @Diane Tyler's Mom @Mikanmama @Karen and Chispa
I wish you all a great Caturday!

Thanks Bhooma @Bandit's Mom !

Yes, I had the part about continuing to hold the cycle time at 12 hours apart written down, as per a reduced dose.

I get nervous shooting low because he likes to plummet at +1.5, and trying to get his number to rise, even with HC food is difficult!

Additionally, I feel if a part of my goal is to continue to lose weight, feeding him up is counterintuitive, even though it may only be for 1 or 2 cycles. Its just a little confusing to get all the variables straight in my mind.

The bit of good news with a skip - you can now shoot whenever you want tonight.

Yes Ma'am, he's flying high, so I'm doing it in 20 minutes! Setting it an hour earlier than our original time gives me a little more monitoring time before I fall asleep, and then I only have to wake up once overnight to test and dispense a snack, unless he's unusually low.
