Are you sure you aren't shooting air? That sometimes happens at the end of the pen. You think you are drawing insulin but there's nothing in the syringe. Just checking :)

Good point. I take in more insulin than needed, then flick and squeeze out any air, flick some more to be sure with one last squeeze until the correct dose. Currently the guage shows less than 20 remaining... if it's correct! Well, it does look quite low, so definitely starting a new Pen tomorrow! Sheesh, Joni!

Glad I checked with you! I bet I thought, wow, I'm getting good at this. No, seriously I thought I was squeezing out any air bubbles. The air bubble is in my head!

:bighug: Thank you! :bighug:

Nonsense! It's possible you are giving him insulin and not air, but start a new pen tomorrow and see? Don't throw away the old one yet.

Thank you. Used a new Pen today, so we'll see. Looking at the used Pen on daylight, I can see there's some insulin left, but what used to be a small air bubble is a bigger air bubble. I can see where it would be very possible to get more air than insulin. :arghh: I might have let my vigilance at drawing up the dose properly lapse these last couple of days. I'll see today what happens... unless the depot was depleted...
