Yes. She can increase to 0.75U tomorrow. BTW, her spreadsheet needs a US tab since most people here are more comfortable with mg/dl rather than mmol/L. I can add it for her. Will need edit access to the spreadsheet to do so.

Ali mi svetujete naj pričnem uporabljati človeški merilec ( contur next ) ? Na njem so vrednosti nižje. Ne zdi se mi tako natančen. Imam grozen strah pred prenizkimi številkami. Zjutraj se nisem mogla odločiti za dozo 0.75. Kako jo pravilno odmeriti ?

Most of us use human meters since the strips are much cheaper and we test a lot. They are as accurate as pet meters. In fact, till pet meters were manufactured and heavily marketed, vets used to use human meters only. Human meters do read lower than pet meters. The difference is not so much in lower numbers but can be a lot in high numbers. Our dosing protocols are written with a human meter in mind, but if you prefer to use a pet meter there is no problem. However, you need not worry that human meters are less accurate.

To measure 0.75, you would measure half way between 0.5U and 1U.

Yes. She is testing enough to keep her safe :-)

We are all scared of lower numbers till we get used to them - hopefully she will see Pino's SS and get comfortable after you share your own experience with her.
