Hello it’s me again. Yesterday I took Tigera to the vet they did blood work and her potassium and phosphorus came back good her proBNP normal and her blood pressure normal . She’s been having so much trouble walking her back legs seem to not be working . I found her last night collapsed on the floor unable to move . During the night she seemed to move about a little better , but she just tried to use the litter box and couldn’t get out of it. She has a very low entry box but then she can’t get up and lays in it . Her urinalysis came back normal to. Her bg has actually been improving a little last few weeks she was in the blues - but then she got badly constipated last week and has been given an enema and lactulose 2ml every 12 hours , restoralax powder. She did poop good amount Friday night. Her bg numbers are going up and she was just increased to 5U yesterday morning. She’s been getting the solensia injections monthly and next one is feb 27. I’ve been giving her zobaline twice a day since January before that I was giving her jamieson methyl b12 .she is eating and grooming herself , she sleeps like an angel. I don’t know how I can leave her alone when I have to work in a couple of days and I don’t know how il supposed to decide if I should put her to sleep . She seems to have the willpower to live , she eats happily and she’s always been a fighter. She is 17. Please any advice is appreciated

The neuropathy will improve. It takes time. She’s doing well otherwise. Will she eat while you are at work? She’s not going too low so if you can get a +2 before you leave and decide then what food to leave out I think she will be just fine. She doesn’t sound to me like a cat that wants to move on. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you for your response . She cannot walk at all. Her back legs are not working. She’s had neuropathy since September last year but in the last few days she had taken a turn for the worse . She collapses as soon as she tries to move . Most ppl suspect a tumour. I’m taking her to emergency. She can’t use litter box , she can’t move. No quality of life . I’m beside myself with grief

I’m so sorry. It does sound like a tumor rather than neuropathy. Sending prayers. I know you will do what is best for her. :bighug:
