GA 12/16 AMETHYST GAINED HER WINGS TODAY

Not much I can say to comfort, but having lost my Whiskey this month I can send my empathy and love :bighug: :bighug:

Soo sorry for your loss also:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::rb_icon:cat_wings>o:rb_icon:
I think the bond we have with them as carers makes it not so much harder to lose them (the loss is just as devastating with a a non-sugar cat), as the small daily reminders we have of the routine (syringes, test kit, diabetes kit, gazzilions of little food bowls, scale for weighing food, blender for chopping it up fine, as otherwise she just ate the jelly, etc etc) which bring back memories, both good and bad. I'm still seeing them all over the house, partly because I can't bring myself to put them away because that really will mean that she is gone for good.

YES!!!!! I can not put any thing of Amethyst away!!! Maybe is time but not for a while:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I will be sending Amethysts' Insulin to DCIN to be donated to other sugarbabies. I do not have alot of syringes left because it was time to order again before she passed:bighug::bighug::bighug:

I sort of feel that donating it honours their memory and helps another cat in need. I had lots of syringes, had stocked up just before she passed, and still need to donate one more box, but it doesn't have half unit measures, so it is more suitable for humans.

Oh, Pamela. I'm just seeing this now. My deepest condolences and sympathy. You and Amethyst truly held each other and ran a marathon together. Take care of yourself as best as. :bighug:

Oh my. I am overwhelmed by reading this. I have been helping mostly on the ProZinc forum lately, but what happened to dear Amethyst? What changed? I kind of just thought you had not posted as much because you were busy with treatment and I was concerned enough about that. I am so so sad. I know that Amethyst meant the world to you! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

THank you Suzanne:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Sudden and unexpected Kidney Failure I have never felt pain like this before. JoJo is very upset spending extra time with him now.:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh poor JoJo and poor Mama bean. Kidney disease can hit hard and fast. I hate it. The disease progression is very unpredictable. I am really upset by this news. Amethyst was such a survivor of multiple conditions that it is hard to believe she’s gone. My head knows that she couldn’t live forever, but my heart wanted to believe it. How are you doing now? Have they checked your response to the chemo lately? I just can’t believe that you have been going through all this with your own health and then lost Amethyst at the same time. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Pamela, I am so so sorry about the passing of your brave girl, my heart goes out to you. She fought through so many health issues and in reading this, you have had your own health to worry about. I am praying for you and your well being. I hate cancer so much. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
