I think I just need someone to pat my hand and tell me it's going to be OK. :p

I just shot my lowest PMPS number, ever. I shot a few days ago when AMPS was 105, but I'd done a droplet's worth of a dose reduction that morning because I was too chicken to shoot the full amount.

This time I went with the usual dose (which is never precise and exact each time, it's just what looks like the same thing to my eyeballs).

I'll encourage her to eat a lot before I go to bed in a few hours. And will, of course, get up and check on her at about +7.5. But I think it's gonna be OK.

You did the right thing. :bighug:With SLGS you can shoot any number over 90. Will you be able to get a test before bed?

Btw, why are you making dose changes in such small increments? Do you use callipers to measure the dose? For the amount you are testing, you could follow TR. Is that something you'd like to consider?

Once I got down to .5u, it didn't seem prudent to make large changes. Going from, say, 2u to 1.75u isn't the same as going from .5u to .25u, at least in terms of percentage of dose. I just want any changes to be safe and slow and steady. I don't want to miss the sweet spot where she's regulated and her daily numbers are a gentle curve.

And, no, I'm not using calipers. I have them, but just haven't used them yet. I'm feeling fairly confident with eyeballing it, so far.

I've looked at TR and I'm not yet comfortable dancing that close to the hypo line. Especially since I just started giving her sub-Q fluids this past week, and I'm seeing if that changes anything. For now, I'd like to continue with this hybrid approach.

Oh, and yes, I'll be able to test her again before I go to bed. I've been trying to stay up late enough to get at least a +3.
