I'm very sorry for not posting.
It just that he has been so high that i was like sad just to put his numbers. but today i got a surprise :bighug:
ill give him 3 units. he has been in 330 or higher. sometimes 250:(

Can you wait before shooting and give us some recent data so we can help you?
How much insulin has he been on until today? What has been his BG numbers?
 
Hi Clara. So happy to hear from you. When you didn’t reply I feared the worst. Can you look at the meter and see the lowest numbers in its memory for the past 10 days or so?

i just check him and he is 80 without insulin
 
I think he’s probably gone lower and when you have checked he’s been bouncing. So it looks like he’s always high. Did you feed him?

yes i did feed him.
Since his depo shot he is not like before (in numbers). the good thing he doesn't cough anymore.
 
Looks like it’s likely been longer. Test again but unless he’s really high you probably should skip tonight.
 
I’ve never had a cat with asthma but there are cats here that don’t need steroids all the time.
 
My vet generally doesn't like long lasting shots of steroids and some other meds because if there's a problem you can't undo it.
 
CLARA! We are so glad to hear news of you and Macho, we were worried. It is great that you are all still taking such good care of him. :bighug:
