Update: I woke up this morning once again to yellow, runny poop. I read online that that means indigestion due to an infection:

My wife and I are just getting through COVID. Is it possible she has an infection and it's upsetting her stomach? When I spoke to the vet yesterday, she said to just monitor the poop for a few days and see if it persists.
She still prefers the dry hydrolyzed-protein food, but will eat the wet if I spoonfeed it to her. And I have heard her go to the wet-food bowl hours later when she's truly hungry. She is indeed begging me for food even now, an hour before her typical meal.

Hi! Yesterday my cat Emma strangely didn't eat all of her wet food, and by the evening seemed to be preferring the dry. She eats a mix as I transition her towards wet food.
She's not typically one to turn down food. Eventually she did eat her evening meal including the wet, but i had to spoon feed it to her. I woke up this morning and saw that her stool was lighter in colour. She still had appetite, but especially for her dry food. She only ate about 40% of her allotted wet food this morning (again, by spoon feeding), so since I needed to shoot her I gave her the requisite calories in dry food instead.
Should I be concerned? I worry it could be an infection, since I just had COVID and now my wife has it. She has a tiny bit of gunk around her eyes, though it used to be she frequently had that. Other possibility: we had a mixup and missed a day of prednisolone so she got it one day later.
Any thoughts appreciated! I have to step out to work now but I will be around to inspect Emma's poop later.
