Max is feeling better tonight although his BG looks bad. I’m happy to see him doing his 5 Ps again. We are still going in circles, stuck at this dose. Maybe this is all SRT is going to give us, I don’t know. I’m really glad he’s come so far though. Trying to go by TR protocol but a lot of times I’m guessing what to do. One minute I think he needs an increase, then cycle six rolls around and he goes green. I’ve been holding him there but then the viscious circle starts again. I find myself unbelievably tired with a horrible headache again. If he could only get a little more of that SRT action going again. He will probably wait until time for my plans for that to happen.

When you are feeling up to it, I might try 5.25 units again. I'd like to see those high numbers come down, and more green/blue. And not just high greens, but more middle of the road ones.

Okay thanks Wendy, that’s what I needed to hear. I am kind of confused with him in knowing what I’m supposed to be seeing. He just has sporadic good numbers for a minute, then goes too low and bounces. Still after all this time I wish his little body could get used to it. I guess that’s to be expected though.

Yes, something below 80's. It depends on the cat, but with Neko nadirs in the 70's brought the whole range of numbers down. You have to see what works for Max, yet keeps him safe. Sporadic visits to green won't get him comfortable with those numbers.
