Wow I've never seen this low in the pre-shot before! Hopefully he didn't get too low last night. I was so exhausted from work that I could not wake up to get a sugar check after his PM shot, then my daughter got a high fever of 102 early this morning so I had to focus on that. Busy busy.

And of course in my tiredness I forgot all about the under 200 stall, and gave him his insulin at full dose and on time :arghh:.

Keep him hungry snd feed just a teaspoon or two.
I have to leave for work in 2 1/2 hours (2pm) but will be back at 6. My husband will be here until 5 but doesn't do sugar checks. Leo will have some food left out. Should I give him a higher carb treat if he's still low before I leave for work?

Wondering how I should handle tonights dose? I will not be able to stay up for hours to monitor tonight. I slept like 3 actual hours last night (okay probably closer to 6 but it feels like 3 lol) and need some good sleep.

Looks like you didn’t test beyond pmps last night. With TR you need a second test every cycle. If he’s down from the pmps tonight would you be able to set an alarm for +5? He might not be low and might even bounce but there’s no way to know. He didn’t go too low today. It was a flat Lantus cycle.

I am not doing TR so I'm not exactly sure what that is at the moment. I can set an alarm to test though. Right now he's at 136 at +12.25

Yes. With SLGS any time you get a test under 90 a reduction has been earned. As you gather data you will lower your no shot number but right now no shot under 150. If between 150-200. Stall and don’t feed and test again in 20-30 minutes to see if on the way up and post for help like you did today. Get sleep while you can. While not required with SLGS, it’s good to get a before bed test to see if the cycle will be active. If there’s a drop at +2-3 it might get active. If higher probably not.
